Abstract Title:

Biography: I got a Bachelor of Chemistry from the University of Santiago de Chile and a Ph.D. in Natural Resources Sciences from the Universidad de La Frontera. I have worked mainly to investigate the decontamination of water and soil using engineered nanoparticles synthesized in the laboratory. During my doctorate thesis, I did internships at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and the Jülich Forschungszentrum, Germany. Currently, I am doing a postdoctoral researcher, where I am studying the effect of engineered nanoparticles in volcanic soils.
